Jakob Müller Holding AG Frick takes over Buss AG Pratteln

Jakob Müller Holding AG, based in Frick, is expanding its technology portfolio and acquiring Buss AG, based in Pratteln. With this step, the successful Frick-based company is strengthening its “Process Solutions” division and thus significantly expanding its position in the field of high-viscosity process technology. At the same time, the takeover strengthens the industrial know-how and innovative power in the region and enables the companies to achieve sustainable growth and long-term prospects.

The Swiss industrial company Jakob Müller Holding AG (JMH), based in Frick, is acquiring 100% of the shares in Buss AG in Pratteln from Fabrel AG (Hergiswil) as of January 31, 2025. With this acquisition, JMH is further expanding its “Process Solutions” division. In future, this will comprise the three companies List Technology AG (Arisdorf/BL), BBA INNOVA AG (Strengelbach/AG) and Buss AG. Stephan Bühler, owner of JMH: “With this takeover, we are expanding our range of technologies and applications in process engineering machinery and plant construction and JMH is strengthening its position as a technology leader in the fields of continuous kneading, mixing, compounding and cooling.” The “Textile Solutions” division with the Jakob Müller Group and Benninger AG will remain in its current structure.
